“Alyosha” takes 7th place in the top of the highest monuments of Russia. And in 1st place is the Victory Monument on Poklonnaya Hill with a height of 141.8 meters. For example, “Motherland” in Volgograd has a height of 87 meters and takes 4th place. The monument “Alyosha” has a height of 42.5 meters.
The monument has a height of 35.5 meters, and the pedestal is 7 meters in height. Therefore, the monument “Alyosha” can be seen from almost anywhere in Murmansk. All visitors to the city one way or another saw this monument at least from afar.
