The monument is called “Chimney”. It is a monument in the form of a chimney burnt out but escaped from bombs and a photograph of Murmansk during the Great Patriotic War.

This memorial complex will help the residents of the city and guests of the capital of the Kola Polar Region not to forget about those terrible times when the northerners were forced to hide from bombs. The monument was opened on the anniversary of those terrible events.
