Teriberka is a unique place. After the release of the movie “Leviathan” in 2014 Teriberka became a mecca of Arctic tourism. The ruins of an old fishing village, a cemetery of abandoned ships, a modern small village and breathtaking landscapes of the Arctic Ocean are surprisingly combined here.

During the tour you will get acquainted with the history of this place, its daily life, enjoy the view of the Barents Sea, breathtaking waterfall flowing into the Arctic Ocean, mountain hills, try to build a pyramid of stones. And of course the incredible atmosphere of the Barents Sea and northern beaches! This place is equally beautiful in summer and winter!

TOUR PROGRAM

9:00 —meeting with the guide at the place of accommodation and departure for the program

12:00 — arrival to Teriberka village and visit the new part – Lodeynoye village. Lodeynoye. Here we will see the cemetery of abandoned ships, the beach Dragon’s eggs and the famous Batareisky waterfall, which falls into the Barents Sea.

14:00 — departure to the old part – village Teriberka. Teriberka. The coast of the Barents Sea, a ship thrown ashore. If you wish you can visit a cafe

16:00 — departure from Teriberka

19:00 — return to the city of Murmansk to the place of accommodation.

Attention!
In winter and spring the program may be changed due to the closure of the road to Teriberka village due to complicated weather conditions. In winter and early spring there is a lot of snow in Teriberka, so sledges and snowmobiles are required for comfortable transportation.

It is recommended to dress in comfortable warm and non-blowing clothes and trekking shoes, tracksuit, thermal underwear (if available), other optional.
