Murmansk Regional Palace of Culture and Folk Art named after S.M. Kirov

Murmansk Regional Palace of Culture and Folk Art named after CM. Kirov – the first cultural and educational institution of the Kola Arctic. Currently, it is a cultural heritage site of regional importance. There are 49 club formations in the Palace of Culture, 28 of them have the high title of “people’s” and “exemplary” amateur collective. More than 1,500 people are engaged in them. On average, over 500 events are held annually in the Palace of Culture, about 150 of them are for children under 14; more than 100,000 people become participants and spectators of the events of the Palace, of which about 20,000 are children under 14 years old. The Palace of Culture implements socially significant projects, actively develops international cooperation. The search and development of new forms of socio-cultural projects using modern information technologies is being carried out.
