Murmansk region entered in top-50 the regions of Russia popular with tourists, by results of 2018
The analytical agency Turstat presented the rating of the cities, popular with tourists, and regions of Russia following the results of 2018.
In 2018 Murmansk region was visited by more than 400 thousand tourists, including 28 thousand foreigners.
In top-20 popular destinations of Russia last year Moscow (more than 23.5 million tourists), Krasnodar Krai (more than 17 million tourists), Moscow area (15 million), St. Petersburg (8.5 million), the Crimea (6.8 million), Primorye (more than 5 million), the Vladimir region (more than 5 million), the Yaroslavl region (3.8 million), Tatarstan (3.4 million), the Tyumen region (3.1 million), the Leningrad Region (3 million), the Vologda region (2.9 million), Bashkiria (more than 2.5 million), the Kaluga region (more than 2.5 million), Altai Krai (2.2 million), the Astrakhan region (2.1 million), the Republic Mountain Altai (2.1 million), the Irkutsk region (more than 1.6 million), the Kaliningrad region (more than 1.5 million) and Stavropol Krai (1.5 million) entered.
The rating is by results of the analysis of statistics of internal and entrance tourism in the cities and regions of Russia in 2018.
