В Мурманске откроется выставка “Город Солнца. Архитектура коммунизма”

17 июня в 17:00 в Мурманском областном художественном музее откроется выставка “Город Солнца. Архитектура коммунизма”, посвященная шедеврам советской архитектуры 1960-1980-х годов.
На протяжении нескольких лет группа энтузиастов из Санкт-Петербурга вела сбор и обработку фотографического материала. Из десятков сотен фотографий для выставки было отобрано 150 лучших работ! На выставке представлены шедевры архитектуры советской эпохи.
Несмотря на навязываемый обществу стереотип восприятия позднесоветской архитектуры как беспробудно серой, именно она — в тех своих образцах, которые выходят за рамки сухой модернистской догмы, — создаёт беспрецедентно современный образ коммунистического будущего страны и мира.
Смыслообразующей темой позднесоветской архитектуры — и, шире, всей высокой экспериментальной культуры 1960–1980-х годов — был космос. Именно в контексте девиза «per aspera ad astra» – «через тернии к звездам» может осуществиться переосмысление восприятия лучших образцов архитектуры ушедшей эпохи в истории нашего государства.
