According to the Russian President’s Decree of 20/8/1994 number 1714 Day of the Russian Federation, the state flag is celebrated on 22 August.

Traditionally, this important holiday timed many activities – festive processions, propaganda activities, youth flash mobs, auto-runs and other. Their main goal – to tell the history of the holiday, to stress the importance and significance of the state symbols of Russia.
