International Cultural Festival “Barents Bird”

The Barents Bird International Cultural Festival is one of the largest cultural festivals not only in the Arctic, but in the entire Barents region. Its main goal is to turn the harsh northern city into a platform open for interaction, where musicians, artists and artists from different countries could share their experiences, and residents and guests of Murmansk get acquainted with their work, find like-minded people and enjoy participating in the festival.
The Barents Bird continues the traditions of another festival – Days of the Northern Countries, but at the same time expands the boundaries of the unique northern culture, inviting participants not only from Russia and Scandinavia, but also from other countries and continents. Over the three years of its existence, “Bird” has made many new friends from Europe, America and Asia.
